The focus is apparent in that I can select text in OneNote, then upon ⌘+C, gong time. I have the bluetooth mouse and keyboard and there is no track pad anything in my settings. Besides, that would not solve the actual issue with the clipboard. Also not all developers are putting the ability to copy in their right click menu options, so you have to hunt and peck from the framed OS window sometimes per app. I'm new to mac, so these things feel awkward and broken regarding the flow I seek. Not committing things to the clipboard when you take a snap is kind of crazy anyways. So you have 6 clicks to actually take a snippet of a screen and commit it to the clipboard, where we had two in windows to do the same thing. I'm using System Preferences > Keyboard > Midifier Keys to change Command key to Ctrl key. May I know how did you remap the command key? Does the issue only happen after you remap that key? Are you saying there is yet another world of updating that I need to be aware of? To replay, I am in OneNote, and even can't always copy and paste without a warning within the same application. I know it seems like this is my issue, but can you not test this internally? When you release to Apple you should have some environments and bug tracking at least to determine that this has been an ongoing issue in the Mac/OneNote user base. In the spirit of trail and error to isolate the issue, could it have anything to do with re-mapped CMD and Ctrl to mimic my former PC environment? As I read online, with just a little research, there is a lot of this issue out there, but not everyone is saying it the same way, so the problem once aggregated, might be worthy of deeper investigation and eventual fix. We're thankful to be able to use OneNote on the Mac, just want that silky user experience of the Mac to continue down into our applications.
